Becky Blackman

Vice President of Information Security

Tyto’s business goals, like those of its clients, require a long-term technology strategy, reliable business continuity, enterprise-level security, and strategic operational planning. The teams responsible for meeting these internal challenges are led by Becky Blackman, Vice President of Information Security.

With over 30 years of Information Technology experience and an in-depth knowledge of system architectures and emerging technologies, Becky oversees the design, development, implementation, and support of solutions that not only ensure compliance in an ever-changing world, but shape Tyto’s future.

Becky began her career designing, building, and managing data centers and Centers of Excellence for the likes of Vastera International, Nextel and Proxicom. She joined AT&T Government Solutions in 2008 and joined Black Box Government Solutions shortly thereafter. Becky joined Black Box as Director of IT and Security and later served as Director of IT and Sales Engineering.

When Black Box transitioned to Tyto Athene in 2018, Becky was instrumental in its formation – a step that brought her to her current role.

Becky is a graduate of George Mason University, where she received her Master of Science in Technology Management and a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration.
