John West

Vice President of Business Development

Developing business relationships and guiding the strategic vision of Tyto Athene in support of the U.S. Defense Department and other Government agencies is the purview of John West, Vice President of Business Development and Strategy. An industry veteran with over three decades of expertise in the areas of networking, cyber security, cloud computing, and enterprise information technology integration, John specializes in supporting the mission requirements of Tyto’s most critical clients.

John spent the bulk of his career holding various roles, including that of Managing Director, supporting U.S. Federal Government customers at Verizon Enterprise Solutions, Public Sector. Recognized as a growth leader, John was then recruited as Vice President of Business Development and Strategy by Leidos.

With a history of proven leadership and enthusiasm for the industry, and drawn by Tyto’s effectiveness, overall agility, and ability to quickly implement decisions and react to changes in the market, John joined team Tyto in 2023.

John entered the business world after receiving his BS in Business Administration and General Management from Ithaca College.
