Patti Chanthaphone

  • Group President, Federal Civilian

With over two decades of cybersecurity expertise and a successful track record of facilitating business growth and promoting innovative, high-performing teams that deliver top-tier cybersecurity services to the federal government, Patti Chanthaphone brings her humble leadership style and executive experience to Tyto Athene as President of Tyto’s Federal Civilian Group.

Patti’s passion for the law enforcement mission landed her a role as security engineer at UUNet supporting the Compliance and Investigations Unit and worked directly with the Office of the General Counsel to investigate, collect evidence, and respond to subpoenas and search warrants for local and federal law enforcement agencies. Patti continued her career as a federal employee for the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Security Division, where she helped secure the nation’s mission-critical systems.

After leaving federal service, Patti supported large enterprise cybersecurity programs for the Department of Homeland Security, Department of Commerce, and Department of Justice. As a co-founder of MindPoint Group, established in 2009, Patti served as President, and set the strategic vision for, and presided over all facets of, the company to ensure it met its operational goals while delivering leading-edge services. This success led Tyto Athene to acquire MindPoint Group in July of 2024.

Patti has been recognized twice in several prestigious industry platforms, as one of the top female leaders for her leadership, strategic business acumen, and promotion of inclusion and diversity in the workforce. Patti holds a Master’s degree in Engineering Management (Information Security Management concentration) from George Washington University and a Bachelor’s degree in Administration of Justice with a Minor in Legal Studies from George Mason University.
