Herndon, VA – Tyto Athene was recently awarded a $4.7M contract from the Marine Corps Systems Command Network Communications Infrastructure (NCI) Program Office in support of Tyto’s ongoing efforts under the Camp Lejeune Modernization Project (contract originally valued at $17.9). This additional contract supports the current Tyto implementation of a new Unified Communications capabilities solution. The additional work will provide increased enhancements to the power, DWDM and voice systems as Camp Lejeune becomes VoIP and UC capable.

The project represents an ongoing effort by the Marines to improve command and control, communications, computing, and intelligence (C4I) capability sets at Marine Corps Bases globally. Tyto works closely with the US Marines and other MILDEPS assuring that its provided solutions are aligned with C4I mission outcome requirements. The Camp Lejeune C4I upgrade and expansion project is one of the latest outcome-based solutions awarded to Tyto Athene in support of US Marine Corps. Other projects include sustainment capability for the Marines located in Asia Pacific, and C4I upgrades at Camp Pendleton, 29 Palms, CA and others.
