Tyto Athene’s Director of Product Management, Ken Kincel, Presenting on October 16th at NIAS 2019 in Mons, Belgium
Kenneth Kincel Director of Product Management at Tyto Athene will be hosting a workshop at this year’s NIAS Conference in Mons, Belgium. NIAS is the North Atlantic Treaty Organization’s largest annual cyber security conference and this year will take place October 15 – 17th.
The Tyto Team will be present at the event, participating in the annual symposium and discussing this year’s theme “Digital transformation: smart machines for smarter decisions.” To empathize 2019’s theme, Ken will be addressing how we can make realistic and necessary actions to make important decisions at the tactical edge. The aptly named workshop: “Safeguarding your Mission with Edge Processing” will give listeners practical knowledge on key areas to take into account when safeguarding missions with edge processing and how to mitigate pitfalls when implementing these solutions.
“Cloud architecture has really revolutionized how we share resources. However, there are some major challenges when implementing cloud solutions without edge processing which many of us may not even realize before it’s too late,” explains Ken. “In our daily lives, losing connectivity may not be a big deal, but for tactical environments even the slightest delay in connectivity could mean the difference between mission success and failure. In this workshop I plan on giving realistic solutions on how edge processing can alleviate cloud challenges.”
NIAS attendees can join Ken’s workshop on Wednesday October 16th, from 16:50 – 17:40 in Theatre Blue.
Not able to make the show? We’ll share a recap of Ken’s workshop after the show!
