Hagen McHenry

Group President, Justice and National Security

As Group President of Justice and National Security at Tyto Athene, Hagen McHenry leads strategic growth and operational performance across programs serving federal law enforcement, homeland security, and national intelligence missions. With a focus on innovation, efficiency, and mission enablement, he brings more than two decades of experience guiding large-scale government programs and driving excellence in operations, capture, and financial management across the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, and Federal Civilian sectors. 

Before joining Tyto Athene, Hagen served as Chief Financial Officer for Business Development at Peraton. In this role, Hagen drove initiatives that enhanced growth, margin performance, and process efficiency. He was a key member of multiple executive governance boards and played a pivotal role in bid strategy, program startup and turnaround execution, and high-level contract negotiations with government and industry partners. Prior to Peraton, he held senior leadership roles at Raytheon, CSC, Hewlett-Packard, and Strategic Enterprise Solutions, where he managed Price-to-Win and strategic pricing organizations supporting multi-billion-dollar federal contracts. His leadership has been instrumental in developing and executing pricing, capture, and operational strategies that strengthened competitiveness and delivered consistent growth. 

Throughout his career, Hagen has been recognized as one of WashingtonExec’s “Top Executives to Watch” in both 2023 and 2024 and was featured on the cover of NCMA Contract Management magazine’s 2024 Cost and Pricing Edition. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean Six Sigma professional, and holds a Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance. Hagen earned his Master of Business Administration in Finance from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Government & International Politics from George Mason University.
