Michael Polmar

Chief Growth Officer

Michael Polmar serves as the Chief Growth Officer at Tyto Athene, where he leads a broad team, responsible for driving growth across the full federal acquisition lifecycle, including marketing, branding, business development, capture, and proposal development.

For over three decades, Michael has provided leadership as a dynamic and entrepreneurial senior executive, consistently driving growth and operational excellence across Federal markets. He possesses a proven ability to build new business, optimize corporate performance, and forge enduring relationships with both clients and strategic partners. With a strong foundation in mergers and acquisitions, Michael excels at coalescing teams and nurturing talent to achieve results.

Before joining Tyto, Michael led growth organizations across several government contractors. Most recently, he co-led the recapitalization of B&A, transitioning it from a founder-owned entity to a private equity-backed organization. He spearheaded the acquisition of iDoxSolutions, a data analytics and content management service provider, significantly enhancing B&A’s service offerings and ultimately leading to a successful exit.

Prior to B&A, Michael served as the Chief Growth Officer and subsequently the Chief Executive Officer at PCI Technology, LLC, the technology entity for the Poarch Band of Creek Indians. In these roles, he was responsible for P&L management and growth strategies, supporting the Washington Business Office.

Michael also served as the head of growth for Vencore, Inc. (now part of Peraton), where he led business development and sales efforts for a portfolio exceeding $1 billion in annual revenue. He played a crucial role in the acquisition and integration of Qinetiq North America and significantly increased proposal submittals and new awards. Prior to Vencore, Michael served as an executive at ManTech, SAIC, and AT&T Federal, contributing to strategic growth initiatives across diverse markets.

Michael earned a BA in Chemistry from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and focusses his philanthropic efforts The Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts, where he recently served on the organization’s Associates Board.
