Tyto Athene is pleased to announce the appointment of Hagen McHenry as Group President of Justice and National Security, strengthening the company’s leadership team as it continues to expand its support for federal law enforcement, homeland security, and national intelligence missions.
With more than 20 years of experience across the Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community (IC), and Federal Civilian sectors, Hagen brings deep expertise in operations, capture, financial management, and mission enablement. His leadership will be instrumental in advancing Tyto Athene’s mission to deliver innovative, secure, and reliable solutions that enhance national security and justice operations.
In his role as Group President, Hagen will lead strategic growth and operational performance for programs serving critical U.S. government missions. He will drive initiatives focused on innovation, efficiency, and excellence in execution, ensuring Tyto Athene remains a trusted partner to agencies safeguarding the nation.
Before joining Tyto Athene, Hagen served as Chief Financial Officer for Business Development at Peraton, where he led initiatives that strengthened growth, improved program performance, and streamlined operational processes. He played a key role in executive governance boards and contributed to bid strategy, program startup and turnaround efforts, and high-level contract negotiations with government customers and industry partners.

A recognized industry leader, Hagen was named one of WashingtonExec’s “Top Executives to Watch” in both 2023 and 2024 and was featured on the cover of NCMA Contract Management Magazine’s 2024 Cost and Pricing Edition. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean Six Sigma professional, and holds a Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance. Hagen earned his MBA in Finance from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Government & International Politics from George Mason University.
