Tyto’s third acquisition of 2024 accelerates GovCon growth and enhances Proposal Center of Excellence

HERNDON, Va. – Nov. 13, 2024 – Tyto Athene, LLC (“Tyto”), a federal systems integrator of mission-focused digital transformation solutions, and portfolio company of Arlington Capital Partners (“Arlington”), has completed its acquisition of Key Solutions, Inc. (“KSI” or the “Company”), a premier Washington, D.C. area firm providing expert bid and proposal development consulting and support.

Tyto Athene Completes Acquisition of MindPoint Group

The acquisition is the latest in a series of initiatives highlighting Tyto’s continued growth to support global public sector objectives.

HERNDON, Va., July 9, 2024 – Tyto Athene, LLC (“Tyto”), a federal systems integrator of mission-focused digital transformation solutions and Arlington Capital Partners (“Arlington”) portfolio company, completed the previously announced acquisition of MindPoint Group (“MindPoint” or the “Company”) on June 30.

MindPoint is a premier provider of end-to-end managed cybersecurity services to leading U.S. federal agencies and organizations. As part of the acquisition, Patti Chanthaphone, President of MindPoint, has been appointed as Federal Civilian Group President of Tyto. In this position, she will lead Tyto’s federal solutions business and play an integral part in the company’s future growth and cyber initiatives.

Tyto Athene Bolsters Space System Capabilities Through the Acquisition of Microtel, LLC

HERNDON, Va. – Tyto Athene, LLC (“Tyto”), a federal systems integrator of mission-focused digital transformation solutions, has completed its acquisition of Microtel LLC (“Microtel” or the “Company”), a software development and systems engineering firm deeply embedded in long-term, space missions for NASA and international space programs. Tyto is a portfolio company of Arlington Capital Partners (“Arlington”), a Washington, D.C.-area private investment firm specializing in government-regulated industries.

Tyto is an innovator in Space Domain Awareness and Combat Power with expertise in Space Threat Intelligence Analysis, Modeling, and Simulation. The acquisition of Microtel further strengthens Tyto’s longstanding customer relationships and capabilities across the space domain, as the Company’s key software development specialties include mission-critical flight software to control robotic spacecraft, rovers, and other onboard flight applications for command, telemetry, and science data processing.

Tyto Athene Completes Acquisition of Qbase

WASHINGTON, D.C., January 5, 2022 – Tyto Athene (“Tyto”), a leading provider of mission-focused digital transformation services to the Federal Government, today announced that it has completed its acquisition of Qbase LLC, a pure-play provider of network modernization solutions and IT digital transformation services to high profile customers in the Department of Defense (DoD) and the National Security sector, including the FBI, where it supports both mission-focused work and enterprise modernization initiatives.

The acquisition of Qbase further expands Tyto’s valuable customer relationships and deep expertise across the DoD and National Security sector.  Qbase complements Tyto’s core capabilities with extensive expertise in cybersecurity, mobility, and modern network architecture. Tyto is well-positioned to capitalize on its expanding capability and past performance to pursue digital enterprise transformation opportunities and meet the growing demand for network modernization requirements across its existing customer base and across the broader U.S. Government enterprise. The acquisition also provides Tyto incremental contract vehicles, such as DISA Encore III.
