Tyto Athene at TechNet Indo Pacific 2019
The Tyto Athene team has just returned from Honolulu after participating in the largest annual regional defense solutions event in the Indo-Pacific Rim, the TechNet Indo Pacific Conference. The show, co-sponsored by AFCEA International and AFCEA Hawaii, focused on current defense policies and challenges for both private industries and military services. One panel, featuring Tyto Athene’s VP of Defense Markets Tony Moles, discussed the Defense Department’s digital modernization and various methods to make data more useful to organizations in the future.
Industry exhibitors at the show were demonstrating products and solutions to meet the needs and requirements of both sectors and create a reliable, streamlined experience. The Tyto Athene team was showcasing the Acuity Micro Data Center and providing demos of its secure, mission-critical connection and communication capabilities. Acuity combines the latest technology with mobility and efficiency to deliver data security, superior voice, video and messaging functionality from anywhere in the world. This solution is equipped with a full data center suite enabling functions such as cloud services, vector routing or identity management, and only takes five minutes to set up. More about Acuity and its versatile solutions can be found here.
Tyto Athene’s booth also featured products and solutions from its partners. NEC was there demonstrating a safe and secure biometric solution with its NeoFace facial recognition software, Teo Technologies was exhibiting reliable phones capable of secure communications, and Poly, the newly combined Plantronics and Polycom, had its audio and visual solutions on display inside our booth.
Tyto Athene’s sponsorship for year’s signage was provided with the help of its partners, Ruckus/Commscope, NEC and Ribbon. Thank you to our signage partners and booth sponsors for making this show possible, and to the sponsors of our annual Blue Hawaii party, NEC, Avaya, Tellabs, Riverbed, Ciena, VFI and ItekFED.
