Vice President of People and Culture
Davida Gray is Vice President of People and Culture at Tyto Athene. She is a highly accomplished Human Resources professional with over 20 years of human resources experience. Davida believes that developing talent, celebrating people for who they are, and acknowledging what they provide enhances the work environment to garner greater creativity and connection between people.
Davida has been a tireless advocate for diversity in cybersecurity throughout her career. She joined MindPoint Group in 2021, she worked with senior leadership to prioritize adding an assortment of differing backgrounds, perspectives, and voices to the staff. As a result, MindPoint Group held a 61% minority workforce, far outpacing the 38% industry average.
In 2021 alone, MindPoint Group added 101 new team members, increasing their headcount by 63%. Under Davida’s leadership, the HR and recruiting teams enthusiastically took on new opportunities, hiring and retaining the most skilled, experienced, and driven cybersecurity professionals in the industry. A true ambassador of company culture, under Davida’s leadership MindPoint won Washington Post’s 2023 and 2024 Top Workplace awards. Following MindPoint Group’s acquisition by Tyto Athene in 2024, Davida played a crucial role on the IMO team, facilitating the integration of the two companies’ cultures. She then transitioned to the role of VP of People and Culture, bringing her expertise and enthusiasm to the Tyto Athene team.
Davida holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from NC A&T State University. She is also a SHRM certified professional with the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification.
